Clarke is probably living that moment all over again. 

One thing that absolutely wrecks me is how Clarke says something like, “Lexa didn’t even know she was an AI.” Oh, Clarke. Do you really think that the only way you can be loved so deeply and truly is if it isn’t real, or human? Because if you do, you’re wrong, you fearsome, darling girl. The girl who loved you enough to change decades of history was not an AI. The girl who loved you enough to give you herself–(arguably the only thing Lexa could really give)–was not an AI. The girl you taught–and who taught you–to be brave, to be real, to be loved and to love, was not an AI. The girl who saw you for everything you are and could be was not an AI.

She was just a girl. A girl who loved you so deeply and truly, it was the most human thing on this god awful, inhuman show.
